D.C. Medical Cannabis License: Applications Open August 29

Non-Social Equity & social equity applicants can apply for medical cannabis manufacturer, cultivator, and courier licenses from August 29, 2023, to October 30, 2023.

Here is a brief description of the license types:

Courier License – Delivering Medical Cannabis and Paraphernalia:

Have you ever imagined the convenience of having medical cannabis and related products delivered to your doorstep?

The Courier License allows businesses to facilitate the delivery of medical cannabis, medical cannabis products, and paraphernalia.

This license type applies to online platforms that connect patients to retailers’ websites and third-party delivery services.

Cultivation Center License – Cultivating Growth and Quality:

The heart of the cannabis industry lies in cultivation, and the Cultivation Center License is your gateway to becoming a vital part of this process.

From Tier 1 to Tier 6, you have the opportunity to grow cannabis on a smaller or larger scale for licensed manufacturers, retailers, and internet retailers.

Manufacturer License – Crafting Quality Medical Cannabis Products:

The Manufacturer License involves processing, packaging, and labeling medical cannabis products.

From crafting edibles to designing products for safe consumption, this license empowers you to make a difference in the industry.

As cannabis advocates and consumers, our mission at Kinner & McGowan is to provide transparent, fresh, and quality legal counsel to guide you through this evolving landscape.

Whether you’re considering a Courier License, aiming to cultivate as a licensed grower, or aspiring to craft high-quality medical cannabis products, we’re here to assist you at every step. Feel free to call us at (202) 846-7148.
