There are Two Open Application Periods Scheduled in 2024 for Retailer and Internet Retailer Licenses:

Social Equity Applicants – March 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024

Standard Applicants (non-social equity) – July 1, 2024 to August 29, 2024

  • Regulatory compliance services for cannabis licensees
  • Manage regulatory compliance with ABCA audits and inspections

Enforcement

  • Prepare and submit remediation plans to ABCA and other District agencies
  • Response to ABCA enforcement notices, penalties and fines
  • Response to cease and desist letters from ABCA and other District agencies

License Application

  • Cannabis business license application preparation and submission. Including but not limited to: 
    • Representation before the ABC Board (Roll Call Hearing, Mediation Conference, Status Hearing, ANC Protest Hearing).
    • Representation during ANC approval process
    • Register owners, employees and managers with ABCA
    • Prepare and submit license endorsement applications (Safe Use Treatment Facility, Summer Garden, Educational Tasting Endorsement, Delivery) 
    • Adhering to requirements including drafts of
      • Standard Operating Procedures for all license categories
      • Security plan
    • Review and submit label and packaging to the ABCA for approval
    • Draft and review business contracts including wholesale purchase and supply agreements, management agreements and non-disclosure agreements
